The communication with the host personal computer is through standard RS232C port. According to the commands from the host machine the card makes the proper receipt, invoice or report. In the meantime it achieves the official required fiscal collection and journal, besides it is treating the connected peripheral devices.
The host computer is able to inquire either all the functioning parameter of the fiscal card or all the contents of the fiscal memory. From these data the application is able to do discretional reports. Of course the prescribed obligatory documents are made by the card either automatic (daily total report) or for request (optional data from fiscal memory).

Customer display
According to the prescription of the Hungarian Tax Authority the cash register has to have two inde-pendent displays. In case of computer based system the operator display could be the monitor of the PC. The other, the customer display must be obligatory a toward the customer turnable, clear visible alphanumeric display. The card does the control of this display alone.
During operation the status of the display is watched continuously. In case of any abnormality the op-eration of the device will be hanged up
It could be preset at selling that it will be displayed the name and the price of the actual item or the subtotal and the price of the actual item.
Furthermore there is the opportunity to show any kind of text given by the host application
